Toxic Glyphosate Round-Up Cover Up

Below is an abundance of science-backed information and many links directly to the science itself. When we say we believe there is a cover-up, we put the facts together to support our statement, but as we always state, please read the documented information and decide for yourself. We promote free-thinking and encourage you to look at the other side of the story for comparison before concluding. We advocate for always looking at all of the facts before making an opinion or conclusion. Some people believe that toxic pesticides cause us no harm. Those are the people who should be sure to read to the end.

We believe that Roundup is one of the most insidiously toxic products on the market, and its poisoning of the human race has worldwide implications.  Below is information that will have your head spinning in disbelief because they try to hide this information, and you will never see all of this in the mainstream.  From Monsanto’s ghostwriters who put their name on Monsanto’s investigative documents to the email admission from a Monsanto employee, glyphosate is a cancer causer—and then the science of the toxicity and the many serious adverse health effects of the pesticide.

There is a lot of science below and information from reliable, reputable people. You can read each study by following the links, but you will see even at first glance, we are all being poisoned, and the mainstream is hiding this.

Facts About GMO’S:

  1. GMOs are NOT necessary to feed the world.
  2. GMOs are NOT required to undergo safety testing by the FDA.
  3. GMOs are NOT safe for humans or the environment.
  4. More than 60 Countries have banned or prohibited GMO’s. Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Greece, and Luxembourg have banned GMO foods’ sale or cultivation.
  5. Twenty-six countries had total or partial bans on GMOs – To name a few; Australia, Austria, Bulgaria, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Poland, Switzerland, Mexico, and Russia.

Read the studies below.

“The FDA has placed the interest of a handful of biotechnology companies ahead of their responsibility to protect public health. By failing to require testing and labeling of genetically engineered foods, the agency has made consumers unknowing guinea pigs for potentially harmful, unregulated food substances.”

Glyphosate implicated in a plethora of diseases

Glyphosate is implicated in a plethora of diseases, including non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Celiac disease patients are at higher risk for it, along with miscarriages, birth defects, and infertility— which all have been implicated in glyphosate exposure. Several studies support these findings.

Many say there are no adverse health effects from Roundup. There are no long-term studies done to show this evidence.  Should we then blindly believe Monsanto is honest and there is no deception on their part in the name of profits? Here is some documented evidence that there are severe adverse events following Roundup exposure. -(https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17185266?report=abstract)

Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma and specific pesticide exposures in men: cross-Canada study of pesticides and health.

This study showed a history of measles and allergy desensitization treatments lowered the risk of Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma but also concluded it was, in fact, associated with specific pesticides. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11700263?dopt=Abstract)

289.3 million dollars awarded to Mr. Johnson vs. Monsanto

The money was awarded to Mr.Johnson when a jury ruled that glyphosate was the cause of his terminal cancer (non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma). You can see the Monsanto fraud clearly in the trial evidence.

A San Francisco jury was presented evidence in this case, and the following information screams of deception, lies, and flat-out corruption on the part of Monsanto.  Here is a list that would be of extreme concern to anyone looking at the evidence, and it seems the jurors took it very seriously.

  1. Dr. James Parry, who was under contract with Monsanto, found evidence of carcinogenicity of glyphosate. He believed it was capable of causing cancer and that glyphosate was clastogenic credible.  He wrote: “My overall view is that if the reported genotoxicity of glyphosate and glyphosate formulations can be shown to be due to the production of oxidative damage, then a case could be made that any genetic damage would be thresholded…it may be necessary to consider the possibility of susceptible groups within the human population.”¹
  2. Monsanto toxicologist Donna Farmer wrote in an email which was presented as evidence:  “You cannot say that Roundup is not a carcinogen…”²
  3. In an email presented to the jury Dr. Heydens explicitly identifies one of the goals as “Publication on Animal Data Cited by IARC…Manuscript to be initiated by Mon as ghostwriters”This one is a mind-blowing exposure of evidence where he also refers to the main publication showing that glyphosate poses no health risk at all, saying they had used ghostwriters. That is where Monsanto writes the studies and uses outside scientists to put their names on it.  “An option would be to add Greim and Kier or Kirkland to have their names on the publication, but we would be keeping the cost down by us doing the writing, and they would edit & sign their names, so to speak. Recall that is how we handled Williams Kroes & Munro, 2000.”³
  4. An email by Michael Cunningham, who worked for Monsanto to several other colleagues, quoted Dr. Ruth Shearer from 1984: “The problem with glyphosate… is that it combines readily with nitrites, found in normal human saliva, to form an N-nitroso compound called Nnitrosoglyphosate. Although that particular compound has not been tested as a cancer-causing agent, over 75% of all other N-nitroso compounds tested have been shown to cause cancer by way of tumor formation.”

Glyphosate’s Suppression of Cytochrome P450 Enzymes and Amino Acid Biosynthesis by the Gut Microbiome: Pathways to Modern Diseases

14. Conclusion
This paper presents an exhaustive review of the toxic effects of the herbicide glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup®, in humans, and demonstrates how glyphosate’s adverse effects on the gut microbiota, in conjunction with its established ability to inhibit the activity of cytochrome P450
Enzymes, and its likely impairment of sulfate transport, can remarkably explain a great number of the diseases and conditions that are prevalent in the modern industrialized world. Its effects are insidious because the long-term effects are often not immediately apparent.

The pathologies to which glyphosate could plausibly contribute, through its known biosemiotics effects, include:

inflammatory bowel disease,  Obesity,  Depression,  ADHD, Autism, Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, ALS, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, Cachexia, Infertility, and Developmental malformations.

Glyphosate works synergistically with other factors, such as insufficient sun exposure, dietary deficiencies in critical nutrients such as sulfur and zinc, and synergistic exposure to other xenobiotics whose detoxification is impaired by glyphosate.

Given the known toxic effects of glyphosate reviewed here and the plausibility that they are negatively impacting health worldwide, it is imperative for more independent research to take place to validate the ideas presented here and to take immediate action, if they are verified, to drastically curtail the use of glyphosate in agriculture.

Glyphosate is likely to be pervasive in our food supply, and, contrary to being essentially nontoxic, it may in fact be the most biologically disruptive chemical in our environment.

The Hidden Truth: Pesticides Also Contain Toxic Adjuvants

Unidentified inert ingredients in pesticides: implications for human and environmental health.

Here is how they get away with the poisoning of the population and the cover-up of pesticides’ toxicity. Pesticides contain ingredients that companies like Monsanto are not required to disclose anywhere. They are labeled as inert ingredients.

Although inert ingredients are in the products and can be biologically or chemically active, they are not required to disclose them. They do not test them for safety in combination with Glyphosate or any other product or ingredient. We consider this hidden toxicity.  They can label them inert ingredients based upon their function.

The toxic ingredients are usually not identified on product labels and can also be “confidential” business information—Hence the Roudup cover-up.

From the Article:

DISCUSSION:

Inert ingredients can increase the ability of pesticide formulations to affect significant toxicologic end points, including developmental neurotoxicity, genotoxicity, and disruption of hormone function. They can also increase exposure by increasing dermal absorption, decreasing the efficacy of protective clothing, and increasing environmental mobility and persistence. Inert ingredients can increase the phytotoxicity of pesticide formulations as well as the toxicity to fish, amphibians, and microorganisms.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17185266?report=abstract

Major pesticides are more toxic to human cells than their declared active principles.

From the article:

Fungicides were the most toxic from concentrations 300-600 times lower than agricultural dilutions, followed by herbicides and then insecticides, with very similar profiles in all cell types. Despite its relatively benign reputation, Roundup was among the most toxic herbicides and insecticides tested. Most importantly, eight formulations out of nine were up to one thousand times more toxic than their active principles.

Chronic tests on pesticides may not reflect relevant environmental exposures if only one ingredient of these mixtures is tested alone.

https://www.hindawi.com/journals/bmri/2014/179691/.

Ethoxylated adjuvants of glyphosate-based herbicides are active principles of human cell toxicity.

Pesticides always have a mixture of adjuvants in them. These adjuvants are very often kept confidential.  They are called inerts by the manufacturing companies. These adjuvants are generally tested alone and not in conjunction with the other ingredients. These adjuvants are shown to be toxic. So when glyphosate, an active ingredient in the pesticide, is tested, they are not testing it in combination with the even more poisonous adjuvants, which are considered inert duluents—one way to cover-up actual toxicity.

The guidelines for exposure are set for glyphosate and do not consider the toxicity of the adjuvants hidden in every pesticide product. Therefore, the guidelines should be thrown out of the window.

This study explored the potential active principles for toxicity on human cells for nine glyphosate-based formulations. The polyoxyethylene amine (POEA) is a component of Roundup. -(https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23000283/)

Results from the article:

Among them, POE-15 clearly appears to be the most toxic principle against human cells, even if others are not excluded. It begins to be active with negative dose-dependent effects on cellular respiration and membrane integrity between 1 and 3ppm, at environmental/occupational doses. We demonstrate in addition that POE-15 induces necrosis when its first micellization process occurs, by contrast to glyphosate which is known to promote endocrine disrupting effects after entering cells.

Since pesticides are always used with adjuvants that could change their toxicity, the necessity to assess their whole formulations as mixtures becomes obvious.

Another study conducted on rats showed that POEA and preparations that contained POEA were more toxic than glyphosate. Glyphosate and its POEA component are ingredients of Roundup.

Dr. Swanson states that “Prevalence and incidence data show correlations between diseases of the organs and the increase in Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs) in the food supply, along with the increase in glyphosate-based herbicide applications. More and more studies have revealed carcinogenic and endocrine-disrupting effects of Roundup at lower doses than those authorized for residues found in Genetically Modified Organisms.”

New Study Links GMO Food To Leukemia – Greenmedinfo – Our Highlights

http://www.greenmedinfo.com/blog/new-study-links-gmo-food-leukemia

A groundbreaking new study published in the current issue of the Journal of Hematology & Thromboembolic Diseases reveals the potential “leukemogenic” properties of the Bt toxin biopesticides engineered into the vast majority of GMO food crops already within the US food supply. http://www.esciencecentral.org/journals/ArchiveJHTD/currentissueJHTD.php

Last September, the causal link between cancer and genetically modified food was confirmed in a French study, the first independent long-term animal feeding study not commissioned by the biotech corporations themselves. Long term toxicity of a Roundup herbicide and a Roundup-tolerant genetically modified maize – Retrached and Republished

What did they have to hide when they retracted this paper?

Conflicts of interest:

In February 2013, FCT assistant editor for biotechnology, Richard E. Goodman who previously worked for Monsanto for seven years wrote a letter:

He wrote:

The implications and the impacts of this uncontrolled study is having HUGE impacts, in international trade, in consumer confidence in all aspects of food safety, and certainly in US state referendums on labelling’.

He showed no concern whatsoever for the impact on the health of people worldwide which would be the normal reaction if it were not profit-driven. He was only concerned about the negative business aspect of this study showing the toxic health effects of Monsanto’s round-up.

Another scientific GMO paper was withdrawn shortly after the afformentioneded one but it was republished by The International Open AccessJournal of Hematology & Thromboembolic Diseases.

WITHDRAWN: Effects of oral administration of Bacillus thuringiensis as spore-crystal strains Cry1Aa, Cry1Ab, Cry1Ac or Cry2Aa on hematologic and genotoxic endpoints of Swiss albino mice. Food Chem Toxicol 2012, doi:10.1016/j.fct.2012.10.032.

This paper stated:

In conclusion, results showed that the Bt spore-crystals genetically modified to express individually Cry1Aa, Cry1Ab, Cry1Ac or Cry2A can cause some hematological risks to vertebrates, increasing their toxic effects with long-term exposure. Taking into account the increased risk of human and animal exposures to significant levels of these toxins, especially through diet, our results suggest that further studies are required to clarify the mechanism involved in the hematotoxicity found in mice, and to establish the toxicological risks to non-target organisms, especially mammals, before concluding that these microbiological control agents are safe for mammals.

According to an editorial in Environmental Health Perspectives:

Inconclusive Findings: Now You See Them, Now You Don’t!

the decision to retract a published scientific work by an editor, against the desires of the authors, because it is ‘inconclusive’ based on a post hoc analysis represents a dangerous erosion of the underpinnings of the peer-review process, and Elsevier should carefully reconsider this decision’.

Will The Gmo-breast Cancer Link Be Pink-washed Away

In conclusion, it was previously known that glyphosate consumption in water above authorized limits may provoke hepatic and kidney failures (EPA). The results of the study presented here clearly demonstrate that lower levels of complete agricultural glyphosate herbicide formulations, at concentrations well below officially set safety limits, induce severe hormone-dependent mammary, hepatic, and kidney disturbances. Similarly, disruption of biosynthetic pathways that may result from overexpression of the EPSPS transgene in the GM NK603 maize can give rise to comparable pathologies that may be linked to abnormal or unbalanced phenolic acid metabolites, or related compounds.
